Walter Rapka, Jr. , CPA, CFP®, PFS, MBA
A native of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in economics and masters in business administration from Rutgers University, Walter has been in his own CPA practice since 1983. In 1987, Walter obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ credential and in 1995 received the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. With such independence, he’s free to recommend what is truly in his client’s best interest.
He also works in his own community, as a volunteer member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Walter volunteers at Coast Guard Station Shark River, located in Avon By The Sea, New Jersey. Walter has held various officer positions, on the Flotilla, Division, District and National Levels within the Coast Guard Auxiliary. During the year you may find Walter skippering a Coast Guard Auxiliary Safety Patrol, teaching a safe boating course, or doing a vessel safety check. Walter believes that you must give back to the community for all the good that comes your way. He firmly believes that the more good you do in society, the more you will receive.
